A career in construction administration and management can be (and for me has been) one of constant transition. It’s rather common that employment with a given company starts and finishes with each successive project; you’re a new hire as it’s just getting “out of the ground,” then finished and looking for a new project (and employer) at the ribbon-cutting. That trend has given me experiences, both good and bad, with many companies in this industry; small companies with friendly, personable cultures, to huge corporations with all the advantages and disadvantages of a big-business environment. RealStreet seems to strike a great balance between the two. It’s small enough to make me feel like I am known and appreciated, but not too small that I might be concerned about a lack of support or expertise. It’s big enough to assert its influence in the National Capitol region, but not too big to make me feel like I’m just part of some corporate bureaucratic machine.

Working for RealStreet is better than working with family. It’s like working with a team that has one goal in mind, to help you achieve your dreams. There’s only one staffing company for me and that’s RealStreet, period.

I have been under the employ of RealStreet for approximately 10 years now as a TAC, or Technical Assistance Contractor, working with Homeland Security on federally declared disasters. My experience with RealStreet has been absolutely wonderful over the years with tremendous engagement provided by the principals of the firm as well as their professional supporting staff members. Although offers of employment opportunities elsewhere have been tendered, none were considered due to RealStreet’s commitment to me and my family.

The RealStreet crew has been an outstanding partner in AECOM Recovery’s FEMA PA TAC contract. RealStreet’s leadership and management has been consistently reliable and resourceful in their personnel support, and especially dependable where tough issues and requirements arise. AND, RealStreet has been an important contributor in AECOM Recovery’s meeting its small business goals.

We have had an eight-year relationship with RealStreet on a number of federal construction management contracts. They have been extremely responsive to our needs, helping us fill a variety of construction services positions, often with short notice. They have been a reliable and responsive partner, and we can always count on them to quickly deliver staff to fill our requirements.

Tony Leketa, PE, Executive Vice President

RealStreet saved us more than once with temporary help on some of our most demanding construction projects, particularly when we needed experienced, responsible and professional individuals on such short notice. We were particularly grateful for the Quality Control Manager (QCM) you were able to provide while our full-time QCM was on short-term disability, at the Reagan National Airport Parking Garage Expansion which was an extremely demanding job. We were also very pleased with your assistant project managers that helped us complete and punch out the 280,000 SF interior build out for Veteran Affairs (a project we completed in less than six months with the assistance of your staff). It’s a pleasure working with your organization and knowing that we have the full support of your organization from top to bottom to assist with our needs. We give you high marks and will always recommend RealStreet to our colleagues in the construction industry.

After a string of failures trying to find the right person on our own, RealStreet came through for us. The first person they recommended was the person we’d been looking for all along. It doesn’t get better than that.
