RealStreet’s Marketing Manager, Katy Cook, has two adorable corgis, Rocket and Comet. In her downtime, Katy and her husband take the corgis on “corgiventures,” including corgi races. Corgi races are growing in popularity, and can be seen in a variety of venues, such as horse races and football halftime shows. Rocket and Comet have participated in a number of corgi races, and will be racing in the Maryland Corgi Cup at the Maryland 5 Star on October 20, 2025. The race included about 125 corgis, was comprised of 13 heats and had one final race for the cup. Each race was a blur of fur! Rocket and Comet ran well! Unfortunately, while they did win the hearts of the crowd, they did not win the cup.

If you would like to catch Rocket and Comet in action, tune in live to the Baltimore Ravens hosting the Denver Broncos on November 3, 2024. They will be racing against 10 other corgis during the halftime show in the Raven’s inaugural corgi race. Join everyone at RealStreet in cheering them on to victory!
